Effective September 8, 2026
CastleWire is a pointer desk. We do not host full articles, photo galleries, or paywalled copy. If you are a publisher and you want a feed dropped, or you believe a teaser still goes too far, write the designated agent below. We would rather credit you than fight you.
How we treat original desks
- We do not publish original reporting.
- We only share and consolidate public park updates from the original desks.
- Full stories stay on the original sites. We credit them and send you there.
Public RSS headlines, a short homepage-length teaser, source name, and a link to the original URL are what appear on CastleWire. “Read original” is the whole story. We do not replace WDWNT, Disney Food Blog, Blog Mickey, Disney Parks Blog, or any other outlet.
Designated agent (DMCA)
CastleWire Legal
Email: legal@castlewire.app
Put “DMCA” or “Source takedown” in the subject so it is not missed.
What to include in a takedown
- Your name, role, and the publication you represent.
- The original URL(s) and the CastleWire story URL or headline.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the listing is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough in email).
- For a source-level ask: the RSS / site you want us to stop pulling, not just one post.
We may remove a single teaser, drop a source from the desk, or ask a short clarifying question. Repeat, valid notices can get a source permanently queued off.
Counter-notice
If we removed your listing and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with the material, why it should go back, your contact, and your consent to local court process as the DMCA requires. We may forward that to the complainant.
Trademarks
Disney park, ship, and island names are used only as ordinary-language labels so a guest can filter the wire. That use is not a claim of partnership. See also the Terms and the Partner agreement branding rules.
