THE PARK DESK
About the desk
Masthead · The Park Desk
Who runs it
The Park Desk is an independent newsroom desk. One editor sorts the public park wires each pull and files a short note in our own words. We do not publish original reporting, and we do not speak for the parks.
How stories are selected
We watch public publisher feeds. A story makes the desk when it changes a park day: a closure, a refurbishment, hours, rope drop, food, entertainment, or construction that takes something offline. Wait times, maps, Lightning Lane, and tickets stay off this desk. The headline on the page is the publisher’s headline. The note under it is ours, and it names the desk that reported it.
Credit
Every item credits the original desk and links to the original story. “Read original” is the full report. We do not host the article.
Corrections
If a note is wrong, or a publisher wants an item dropped, write legal@theparkdesk.com. Include the original URL and what should change. We correct or remove the note. We do not rewrite the source.
Independence
The Park Desk is an independent publication and is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company.
